What does the PTO do?

The PTO helps provide funds when the school’s limited budget can’t cover the added expenses of certain improvement projects, educational programs, or enrichment activities (like field trips!).

Who should join the PTO?

All parents & guardians of current Dakota Valley K-12 students and DV Staff are welcome and encouraged to join!

Are members required to volunteer?

This is a very common PTO myth! We all understand how busy life is and volunteering is not a requirement.

What are the benefits of membership?

Membership dues go to the PTO general fund which are used to directly impact DV students. Membership also gives you access to a comprehensive school directory (it’s priceless!) and gives you the opportunity to have a voice in PTO decisions.
